In this joint project we develop robust and efficient numerical software for the simulation of a special type of a catalytic fixed-bed reactor. Our project partners are constructing a set of combinable catalytic reactors of different size, appropriate connecting devices and measurement tools. Combining these moduls in various ways allows to investigate a chemical process of interest under quite different physical conditions. The final aim of the cooperation is to provide a software tool which allows an a priori simulation of a planned combination.
